JADE OF THE LIGHT LLC: TERMS OF SERVICE AND DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT

This Terms of Service and Disclosure Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legally binding contract between Jade of the Light LLC, a California Limited Liability Company (“the Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”), and you, the user or client (“Client,” “You,” or “Your”). By accessing our website, purchasing services, or engaging with our practitioners—including Independent Contractors—you hereby acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms herein.

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES & NON-PROFESSIONAL STATUS

The Company provides intuitive guidance, energy healing, psychic readings, and mediumship (the “Services”).

  • California SB-577 Disclosure: Under California law, many of the Services provided are considered "Alternative or Complementary healthcare." Please be advised that the Company and its practitioners are not licensed physicians, surgeons, or mental health professionals. The Services are not licensed by the State of California.
  • Independent Contractors: The Company may engage Independent Contractors (“ICs”) to fulfill Services. These ICs are not employees of the Company. While the Company maintains standards for its practitioners, the Company is not liable for the individual conduct or personal representations of ICs beyond the scope of the provided Services.

2. COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL & LEGAL DISCLAIMER

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND SPIRITUAL PURPOSES ONLY.

  • No Medical/Psychiatric Advice: The Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or mental health condition. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
  • No Legal/Financial Reliance: Any information provided regarding legal, financial, or business matters is purely speculative and does not constitute professional advice. You should consult with a licensed attorney or financial advisor for such matters.

3. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

By engaging our Services, you voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with such activities. You acknowledge that spiritual and energetic work can be emotionally evocative. You agree that you are solely responsible for your own interpretation of the information provided and for any actions you take as a result of a session.

4. FINANCIAL TERMS & CURRENCY

  • Currency: All transactions are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
  • Payment Requirement: Full payment is required via our designated merchant processor prior to the commencement of any Service.
  • Cancellation & Rescheduling: Notice of cancellation must be received at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Failure to provide timely notice results in a forfeiture of the session fee.
  • Strict No-Refund Policy: Due to the subjective nature of the Services and the time allocated by practitioners, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued for "dissatisfaction" with the content of a reading or the perceived results of an energy session.

5. CONDUCT & TERMINATION OF SERVICE

The Company maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, threats, or inappropriate behavior. We reserve the right to terminate any session, without refund, if the Client:

  1. Appears to be under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances;
  2. Engages in verbal abuse or harassment;
  3. Is under the age of 18 without express parental consent (where permitted).

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All materials—including but not limited to logos, website content, proprietary healing modalities, and recorded content—are the sole property of Jade of the Light LLC. Unauthorized recording, reproduction, or distribution of our Services or materials is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Jade of the Light LLC and its members, officers, and ICs shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. This includes, but is not limited to, emotional distress, loss of data, or loss of profits.
  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jade of the Light LLC from any claims, damages, or legal fees (including attorney's fees) arising out of your breach of this Agreement or your misuse of the information provided during the Services.

8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & GOVERNING LAW

  • Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • Mandatory Arbitration: Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be settled by binding arbitration in [Insert County], California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.
  • Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. No waiver or modification shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Jade of the Light LLC.

CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By using booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read this Terms of Service and Disclosure Agreement, understand its contents, and agree to its terms in their entirety.
